Hello! My name is Laurel Megale and I am an artist in Oregon. I graduated from Western Oregon University with a BA degree in Visual Communication and Design in 2020. I am a designer that works in digital and traditional media to create imaginative characters, stories and baseline worlds.

My work shifts from vibrating colors of hope and images of life’s bounty, to deep reflection, underlying darkness and hidden meaning; themes that showcase the constant struggle and clash of light and dark.

Each vision holds a whirlwind of new realities and stories that help me further develop character personalities and stories; identities that are conveyed externally through detailed perspectives, as well as explored internally through the psyche and mind. I look to connect to my viewers through emotion, embracing the state of deep contemplation that is storytelling.
